Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church - Brownsville, Tennessee has a task given by God in which we seek to:
-Worship the Lord, Obey God's commands, Glorify God the Father.
-To spread the gospel of the Kingdom of God so that people may obtain salvation.
-Help people develop Christ-like attributes in their lives.
The saints with all of the tools needed to help make our walk with Christ easier with the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). Forming this relationship helps us to be even more successful to grow in intimacy and understanding of God’s Holy word.
Start and end each day with God, and pray throughout the day. Hickory Grove sets the example of a specific time and place to meet with God, to read and meditate on scripture.
An environment that demonstrates the responsibility of helping men and women prepare to serve because of the love God and their neighbor. Serving is part of what it means to be a follower of Christ, who served his community and those closest to him.
The needs of the people, loving and following God will always be our number one priority. Praising God is our form of worship that allows us to express gratitude for what Jesus Christ has done for us. It's also a way to recognize God as our Creator, Savior, and King.
